I have five etchings to present this Advent season from a series on The Birth of Jesus by Czech Graphic Artist Anna Khunova, now on view on the pages of The Coming of Christ gallery in The Life of Christ section. Published in 1998 in Prague, the suite of images is the 41th set in the Edice Biblos series of fine art prints on biblical themes. Known for her children's book illustrations, Khunova brings a disarming simplicity to her depiction of events in the Christmas story (left) from the Annunciation to the Flight into Egypt. Pray for peace in Ukraine and in other war-torn regions as we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace. (John Kohan)
